POSTER SESSION

 

In keeping with earlier initiatives, we are organising a Poster Session, which we hope will be as successful as the previous ones. As in 2014,  the best presentations will be awarded prizes.

 

 

THESE ARE THE TOPICS OF INTEREST TO BE FOLLOWED:

 

1 -  Government programmes and policies for mineral exploration;

2 -  Industry programmes for mineral exploration;

3 -  Geophysical methods applied to mineral exploration;

4 -  Geochemical methods applied to mineral exploration;

5 -  Characterisation and-or genesis of mineral deposits;

6 -  Geological-metallogenic Brazilian environments;

7 -  Remote sensing, GIS, data integration and interpretation;

8 -  Conflict zones and challenges in mineral exploration;

9 -  Mineral exploration financing.

 

 

RULES FOR SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS

 

The rules for Abstract preparation are indicated below, and must be strictly followed. The Abstracts will be revised and eventual corrections may be requested to authors.

 

  • No more than 500 words, including title, authors, e-mails and their institutions;

 

  • Title: Arial 12, bold, aligned left.

 

  • Authors And Institutions: Arial 11, italic, aligned left;

 

  • Abstract Text: Regular Arial 11, justified;

 

  • Be presented in an A4 page with 2.0-cm margins at right, left, top and bottom; use 1.5-cm line spacing, skipping one line between the title and authors, and one line between authors and the abstract text;

 

  • No photos, illustrations, charts, tables, formulae and bibliographic references are allowed.

 

 

The Abstract must represent a synthesis of the research/study RESULTS, in a direct, clear, informative and concise language. Start by presenting the focus of the work: new data/experiments; review in progress; new technique; synthesis, etc. The Abstract is a telegraphic version that condenses and concentrates essential information and results of the finalised or on-going work, and not the intended work of the author(s).

 

 

The Abstract should be forwarded as a Microsoft Word® file to simexmin@adimb.com.br.

 

 

In order to guarantee that your contribution will be accepted for the Poster Session, Abstract(s) must be submitted to this coordination no later than MARCH 7, 2016.
