The Brazilian Symposium on Mineral Exploration, SIMEXMIN 2018, will take place in a moment when changes in the Brazilian mineral legislation are being consolidated, however there are still several issues to be discussed and solved. The fall in mineral commodities prices and in mining investiment demand a careful detailing of the viability of the projects developed by mineral research companies and mining companies.
Due to the critical situation of the sector, the Organizing Committee of SIMEXMIN 2018 has selected the subject matters and the lectures of its twelve seminaries mainly focused on projects viability and new tendencies in the characterization of mineral deposits. Authorities and well known national and international specialists have already confirmed their presence in the lectures.
The program of the post-event courses aims at deepening issues placed at the frontier of knowledge in mineral exploration.
The cozy and touristic city of Ouro Preto with its geologic-mineral environment, together with the activities and events associated to SIMEXMIN 2018, are a perfect invitation to the debate and the professional improvement.
